As you can see from the collage I made on https://www.befunky.com I took inspiration from several artists such as Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, James Blunt, Jason Mraz, Adele, James Bay and James Arthur. My reason for doing so is because they are all mainstream artists in the acoustic pop genre. My two flat plans are in the centre and follow the conventions of these album covers:

- An picture of the artist in the middle of the panel

- Black and white colour scheme (Applies to most of the albums here)

- Keeping it simple

When coming up with the album name, we were unsure between Greyscale and The Greyscale. However, we decided to go for The Greyscale. However Joseph decided to go with Monochrome.

Our track list for the album is as follows:

Ancillary Research- Magazine Advertisement

Similarly to the the digipak, the magazine advertsisement for James Arthur's album is very simplistic and only features the artist and his name in very bland colours that contrast to become more eye catching(namely black and white). This is a convention I will be carrying over of my magazine advertisement.

As we can see from the digipak for the James Arthur album, one convention I need to follow is simplicity. The reason that I am focusing on James Arthur's album is because he is the artist we chose for our music video song.
